Club Nights

Our club sessions are held on Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Brendon Lawrence Sports Centre.

Session Format

All games played during club nights are doubles and are contested to 21 points.

To ensure fair participation and variety, we employ a tournament style system to manage court rotations, allowing every member an equal number of matches during the evening.

Equipment

Players are expected to bring their own badminton racket. The club provides plastic (Mavis 300) shuttles for all training and match play.

Venue Facilities

The Sports Hall is exclusively available to our club during sessions and includes four badminton courts. Additional amenities include free parking, changing rooms and toilets/showers for members’ convenience.

Membership

Our membership runs for a full year, from January to December, and is not limited to the badminton season. Our membership options are:

Full Annual Membership: £225

Seasonal Membership (per tournament - 14 weeks): £75 per season

Seasonal membership is ideal for those who prefer shorter commitments. It offers full access to club benefits during each 14 weeks period.

Visitors

Visitor attendance is restricted to maintain fair access for members. All visitors, whether new or returning, are required to contact the club in advance prior to attending a session. To join the waiting list for next tournament, please use our contact form. 

Visitor fees for the 2025/26 season are £6.50 per session.
